Shipping Policy
We’re committed to delivering your Beer of Satoshi orders reliably and transparently. Below are the details of our shipping service—calculated at checkout based on your order weight, destination zone, and selected service (Economy or Premium). All applicable surcharges (fuel, CO₂ tolls, handling, DDP fees, etc.) are already included in the prices shown at checkout .
1. Parcel Size & Weight Limits

Orders exceeding these limits will be split into multiple parcels automatically, with shipping fees applied per parcel .
2. Packaging & Weight Buffer
We ship in sturdy cardboard cartons with protective inserts. Case sizes, internal dimensions, and empty‐box weights are:

We add a small weight buffer per case to account for packing materials and foam inserts. For example, a 6-pack includes an extra 0.8 kg buffer .

4. Included Surcharges
All of the following are built into the rates above—no hidden fees:

Fuel surcharge (15 % carrier‐applied)

CO₂ toll (€ 0.19 fixed per kg)

Peak season surcharge (Nov–Dec: extra € 0.19–0.50/kg)

Handling & packaging (covers bottle handling and quality materials)

Age‐check fee (€ 1.19 where required by law)

DDP processing fee (€ 4.50) for Zone 1 Non-EU destinations (LI, CH, GB)
5. Customs, Duties & Taxes

Delivered Duty Paid (DDP): For LI, CH, GB, we prepay all import duties and taxes so you’ll have zero surprise fees on delivery .

VAT: 19 % (DE standard) is applied at checkout where applicable.

Duty-free countries: Most EU countries and several microstates are duty‐free; duties only apply in non-EU zones.
6. Tracking & Insurance

Order processing: Dispatched within 1–2 business days.

Tracking: You’ll receive an email with a tracking number once your parcel ships.

Insurance: All shipments are insured up to the full value of goods and shipping.
7. Loss, Damage & Claims
If your order is lost or arrives damaged, contact us at info (at) beerofsatoshi (dot) com within 48 hours of the delivery date (or expected delivery) with photos of damage and all packaging. Retain packaging and damaged goods for carrier inspection. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund promptly.
8. Exceptions & Special Cases

PO Boxes & APO/FPO: Unfortunately, we cannot ship to PO Boxes or military addresses.

Oversized / overweight: Orders exceeding weight or dimension limits are split into multiple parcels; checkout will reflect combined shipping costs.

Promotions: Free or discounted shipping promotions (e.g. “Free shipping in Germany over € 50”) apply automatically at checkout when criteria are met.
